Secretaries and Treasurers
January
- Celebrate Kiwanis’ 92nd anniversary, January 21!
- Consider any proposed resolutions or amendments to the International Bylaws your club would like to see presented during the International convention. Submit to the International Office by April 1.
February
March
- Pay dues to Kiwanis International by March 31 if club’s anniversary date is January, February, March, or April.
- Submit any proposed resolutions or amendments to the International Bylaws to the International Office by April 1.
- Report your club’s two International convention delegates and two alternates to the International Office by April 30 on the delegate certification form.
President
January
- Celebrate Kiwanis’ 92nd anniversary January 21!
- Begin thinking about whom your club will send as voting delegates to the 2007 Kiwanis International Convention in San Antonio, Texas. Each club may send two primary delegates and two alternate delegates, and they should be elected at least 60 days prior to the convention. Next year’s president should be a delegate.
- Prepare to elect three delegates from your club to attend your district’s convention. This should be done at least 30 days prior to the convention, and next year’s president should be one of the delegates.
February
- Conduct the Annual Club Meeting between April 1 and second week in May.
- Participate in Read Around the World, February 1 through March 3.
March
- Submit any proposed resolutions or amendments to the International Bylaws to the International Office by April 1.
- Make plans for your club to participate in Kiwanis One Day: One Way, One Day, One K, April 7.
Lieutenant Governor
January
- Celebrate Kiwanis’ 92nd anniversary January 21!
- Plan a special week or month when all clubs conduct membership campaign.
February
- Encourage lieutenant governor-designate, lieutenant governor-elect, and club members in your division to attend both the International convention and the district convention. Plan to attend both events.
- Participate in Read Around the World, February 1 through March 3.
March
- Conduct Official Division election Conference (See Standard Form for District Bylaws, Article X section 3, for requirements).
- Support club membership campaigns.
- Support clubs’ participation in Kiwanis One Day: One Way, One Day, One K, April 7.
