Word search: opposites attract
Kiwanis-family clubs have their differences. Some are newly organized,
and some have been around for a while. Some prefer service; others are
ardent fundraisers. Some speak Japanese; others communicate in Tagalog.
And if you look very closely, even some clubs’ names hide subliminal words
of opposition!
For example, the K-Kids Club of Dogwood Elementary School, Camdenton,
Missouri, has an obvious canine reference in its name; whereas, the name
of the Kiwanis Club of Canicatti, Italy, contains a feline sequence of
letters, C A T.
Below are six pairs of Kiwanis-family club names. Your mission is to
reveal the sequence of letters that spell out their differences. You need
only concentrate on the red-colored letters, looking for words within
the club names made of consecutive letters.
Next KIWANIS Connected: a word search dedicated to the opposites of opposite:
parallels, similarities, partnerships, counterparts, and such ilk.
