Circle K’ers heading to Boston

The 2006 Circle K International Convention, “Sailing the Seas of Service,” will be August 12-15 at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts, New England’s largest city.

This is a great opportunity for Kiwanians to support their sponsored Circle K club. Here are a few ways to help:

  • Set aside funds to send Circle K’ers to the convention.
  • Stage fundraisers, or assist Circle K’ers with their fundraising projects.
  • Finance members’ convention costs with the one-third plan: The Circle K’er pays one-third of the registration fee, his or her club pays one-third, and the sponsoring Kiwanis club pays one-third.
  • Keep Circle K members informed of registration deadlines and procedures and offer to help with this process. Also, Kiwanians are urged to assist Circle K clubs with Service Fair displays and any other projects for convention.
