Read, shoot, and share
Picture this: A Kiwanian dressed in kiddie-lit garb—say a Dr. Seuss Cat in the Hat stovepipe or Arthur’s large, round spectacles. Twenty children, their chins cupped in the palms of their hands, stare in rapt concentration as the costumed Kiwanian reads a story.
Kiwanis’ Read Around the World program sets perfect photographic scenes. Clubs that have or are participating in the February 1 through March 3 event are encouraged to submit images of their reading projects online at Kiwanis In Action.
If you’re already registered with the Member Community, simply follow the directions to post your favorite reading pics. If you are not registered with the Member Community, all you’ll need is your club key number and your personal membership identification number, both of which your club secretary can provide.
Oh, and you’ll need one or two digital photos, of course. |
