Clock ticking on membership program

3 ... 2 … 1 … the countdown has begun for the finale of the “It’s As Easy As 1-2-3 You Hold the Key” membership-development program.

Are you eligible for 1-2-3 You Hold the Key recognition?

Kiwanis members who earned a gold key lapel pin by recruiting three new members can look forward to VIP treatment at the 92nd Annual Kiwanis International Convention in San Antonio, Texas. They also get three entries in the random drawing for a trip to the 2008 Kiwanis International Convention (hotel, airfare, and registration). Other random-draw prizes include: the chance to spend the day at the home of the 2006-07 Kiwanis International President; spend the day at the Kiwanis International Office with the CEO/Executive Director; Kiwanis International life membership; and gift cards to the Kiwanis store.

Members earning a silver key lapel pin by recruiting two new members receive two entries into the contest, and members earning a bronze key lapel pin by recruiting one new member receive one entry into the contest.

Don’t despair if you haven’t yet convinced your friends to join you at a meeting—or better yet, as a Kiwanian—there’s still time. But you must have all the necessary paperwork completed and sent to Kiwanis International by June 1 to qualify for the contest.

Random-draw winners do not need to be present to claim their prizes, but with all the fun and fanfare, it’s recommended! All eligible entries will be placed into a tumbler, and the random drawing will take place onstage at the convention.
