Circle K’s Tomorrow Fund

K International’s goal to reach US$150,000 for the Tomorrow Fund before
the organization’s August 13-17 convention is looking good. CKI recently
introduced a new fundraiser, providing 50th anniversary commemorative
coins for a $10 donation with proceeds going to the fund.
Success will result in a new hairdo for a
trio of Tomorrow Fund supporters.
“If the goal is met, I will have my head shaved
at the convention,” says Kiwanis International youth funds specialist
Gayle Webb. “If $160,000 is raised, CKI President Troy Dibley will get
the trim. If $175,000 is met, Kiwanis International Foundation executive
director Dan Borba will lose his locks as well.”
Appropriately, the fundraising campaign has
been named “Shave the Wave." To contribute to the fund or see where CKI
