Builders distribute neighborhood ‘warmth’
On a cold January morning, Builders from Daniel Morgan Middle
School in Winchester, Virginia, walked door-to-door, distributing
home-insulation supplies to residents. The Martin Luther King Jr. Day
of Service, sponsored by the United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley,
was a service project aimed to cut utility costs for residents by distributing
500 bags of foam tape and wall insulators donated by area hardware stores.
