What’s the connection?
The March 2005 issue of KIWANIS Connected sent readers on a wild Internet
chase to find the connection between Kiwanis and three celebrities.
Via Google, Yahoo, and AltaVista, KIWANIS Connected readers charged through
the World Wide Web on a broadband quest. And this is what they found:
Gordon Lightfoot—“Kiwanis Music Festival in 1951 and 1952
were turning points for him as he began his singing career,” reports
Penny Worley of the Kiwanis Club of Temple, Texas.
