Calling for convention volunteers
Volunteers are needed to assist as Election Committee and sergeants-at-arms during the 2006 Kiwanis International Convention in Montréal, Québec, June 28-July 2.
Election Committee members assist with House of Delegates business, collecting and counting ballots, among other duties.
Sergeants-at-arms provide logistical assistance and other support, helping with convention sessions, forums, workshops, and related activities. They control crowds, monitor debates during sessions, and provide hospitality services. The agenda is flexible enough to allow time for volunteers to attend desired convention events.
Only paid convention registrants may serve as sergeants-at-arms and on the Election Committee. Only registered delegates may serve on the Election Committee.
