Show your clubs “In Action”

Bridgeway Elementary K-Kids used the “In Action” section of the Kiwanis Kids Web site to show how they raised US$1,694 for the Kiwanis International Foundation’s hurricane relief efforts.Interested in submitting service or fundraising projects your K-Kids, Builders Club, or Aktion Club has conducted? Advisors post pictures and information about their clubs’ activities in the “In Action” areas of the appropriate Kiwanis-family Web sites.

The Hutchinson, Kansas, Aktion Club, for example, posted details about its track meet on the Aktion Club In Action site.

The Builders Club In Action page includes an entry about the Lebanon, Indiana, Middle School Builders Club’s Read Around the World project.

And the Southside Elementary K-Kids Club in Batesville, Arkansas, had a great time picking up trash; you can view the evidence in K-Kids In Action.

Each Kiwanis-family Web site has an In Action page, with step-by-step instructions to guide the user through the posting process. The user will be required to enter a member identification number and password, but assistance is provided in this log-in process.

Categories for posting information include: Service Projects, Fundraisers, Membership Development Events, Fellowship Activities, and Leadership Events.
