KU celebrates 3,000 grads
K University is motivating, reinvigorating, and educating Kiwanians from coast to coast, and feedback from participants is positive. Marking a new milestone for K University, the program graduated 3,000 Kiwanians during the 2006-07 season.
“These are 3,000 Kiwanians who each is prepared to be the one who can make a difference—in clubs, in communities, and especially in the lives of children,” says Laurie Welch, director of leadership development and education at the International Office.
Just two years since its inception, K University has continued to grow its program and expand to new areas, inviting more Kiwanians to participate in what’s been dubbed a one-day “traveling road show” of workshops and forums focused on team building, motivation, communication, and managing change.
To become a part of the next graduating class of Kiwanians who are prepared to impact their clubs—and the world—register for an upcoming K University event (watch for a new list of K University dates and locations for 2007-08)
