Dues waiver clarification
Growing clubs may qualify for dues waivers … but only for their new members. The At the 2006 Kiwanis International Convention in Montréal, the House of Delegates approved a Bylaws amendment that allows the organization to waive new members’ dues for clubs that record a membership gain of 25 percent or higher. The International Board issued an interpretation of the Bylaws change.
To further clarify the membership-development incentive, the waiver only applies to dues for new members who are brought into the club during the period in which the 25 percent gain is reported.
