SPECIAL HONOR: Girl Scout’s Woman of Excellence in Business, bestowed upon her after her work in launching Georgia’s “Leave a Legacy” campaign to promote charitable giving.

RECENT ACHIEVEMENT: Ran the Boston Marathon in less than four hours (3 hours and 53 minutes, to be exact).

FAMILY: Three grandchildren. “Many people do not know that I am a grandma. I am probably the only grandma who can give wheelbarrow rides around the back yard.”

SURPRISING FACT: “I love fox hunting. Contrary to popular belief, we do not harm the fox.”
