Bush, Survivor star to headline Key Club convention

They’re not likely to be voted off the convention property. But Jenna Bush and Ethan Zohn are sure to be a unanimous hit when they take their turns center stage during the 2007 Key Club International Convention in Orlando, Florida, July 11-15.

Bush, who is the daughter of United States President George Bush and First Lady Laura Bush, served as a UNICEF intern and will talk to Key Club members and guests about her experiences documenting the lives of Latin American and Caribbean children who have been excluded from basic care and education.

Zohn won the US$1 million prize as a contestant on Survivor: Africa. He invested his prize money to co-found Grassroot Soccer, a program that uses the game of soccer to teach kids in Africa about HIV/AIDS. Besides sharing his story about his life, Survivor, and Grassroot Soccer during the convention’s Opening Session, Zohn will participate with Key Clubbers in “Step Up to Stomp Out AIDS,” a convention charity walk benefiting Grassroot Soccer.

It’s a must-see convention, for sure. And Bush and Zohn are “just” the warm-up acts to a convention jam-packed with Key Club entertainment, education, leadership opportunities, and fun!
