From the very start of the Opening Session, it was apparent the 92nd Annual Kiwanis International Convention would be a totally new experience. With no lecterns on the stage, International President Nelson Tucker hosted “The Kiwanis Show” from a desk, where he interviewed guests (such as Kiwanis International’s new CEO, Rob Parker) and introduced entertainment (such as The Passing Zone jugglers).
As the show’s five-day run concluded, Nelson encouraged his audience to make a difference in their communities and the world. “Be the one to build your club’s membership,” he said. “Be the one to lead Kiwanis into a future ripe with promise and potential. Be the one. Thank you, each and every one of you. You amaze me. Go out and amaze the world.”
