Curry confirmed as 2007-08 President
Dave Curry will step into the role of Kiwanis International President on October 1, ready to write a new chapter in the organization’s 92-year history. During the 92nd Annual Convention in San Antonio this past July, the House of Delegates elected the 18-year Kiwanian as the organization’s 2007-08 president.

Dave, who is a member of both the Silver Bow, Butte and Tombstone, Virginia City, Montana, Kiwanis clubs, encouraged convention attendees to speak out about Kiwanis.
“Whether we are engaged in hands-on service, fundraising for good causes, or bringing balance to someone’s life by having them join us in Kiwanis, we need to be proud of the impact we are having on the lives of others,” he says. “We need to share our story of service.”
Dave is a past distinguished president of the Silver Bow club and a past secretary-treasurer of the Tombstone club, which meets on the Internet. He is a manager with Northwestern Energy Company. He and his wife, Eva, are parents of five children and have eight grandchildren.

President-Elect—Donald R. “Don” Canaday. Don is a 21-year member and distinguished charter president of the Kiwanis Club of Meridian Hills, Indianapolis. He has been a member of three other Kiwanis clubs with a total of 36 years of membership. He is a retired United States Army officer and retired business executive. He and his wife, Linda, are parents of six children and have 17 grandchildren.

Vice-President—Paul Palazzolo. Paul is a 23-year member and past distinguished president of the Kiwanis Club of Springfield-Downtown, Illinois. He also is a former Key Club distinguished governor. Paul is the auditor of Sangamon County, Illinois, and a licensed real estate broker. He and his wife, Suanne, are parents of a daughter and a son.

Region I Trustee (three-year term)—Bascom L. Allen Sr. Bascom is a 33-year member and past distinguished president of the Kiwanis Club of Starkville, Mississippi.

Region I (United States) Trustee (three-year term)—Randolph “Randy” DeLay. Randy is a member of the Greater North Houston, Texas, Kiwanis club.

Region I Trustee (three-year term)—Bernard Wayne “Bernie” Knott. Bernie is a member and four-time president of the Shepherdstown, West Virginia, Kiwanis club.

Region III (Europe) Trustee (three-year term)—Peter Wüllenweber. Peter, who is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Bayreuth, Germany, was elected during the Kiwanis International-European Federation Convention in Gdansk, Poland, this past June.

Region IV (Asia-Pacific) Trustee (three-year term)—Eduard T. “Ed” Sedillo. Ed, who is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Dumaguete Sandurot, the Philippines, was elected during the Kiwanis Asia-Pacific Convention in Manila, the Philippines, this past March.
