Changes aplenty with new kiwanis.org

Kiwanis International’s Web site has gotten a much-needed face-lift. Here are a few highlights:

  • The home page now serves as a centralized communications hub.

  • A new calendar of events features an expanded detail view.

  • The Club Locator is now called “Find a Club,” and features the ability to map locations.

  • “Contact Kiwanis” features a Help Line and international data.

  • Headlines are now found under K-News.

  • All Kiwanis-family programs are now represented on the home page.

  • Member Community forums will be discontinued. Conversations will not be archived.

  • “My Kiwanis Moment” is a story- and photo-sharing database that allows members to submit their stories and photos for online reading and viewing.

  • Headlines that have been available via Web code for clubs to post on their own club Web sites now will be available through RSS feeds. Club Web masters must install new RSS feeds into their sites. More instruction about RSS feeds will be available soon to all members.
