September (outgoing lieutenant governors)

•  Celebrate Kiwanis Kids’ Day September 25.

•  Contact club presidents to ensure Annual Club Report is submitted by October 31.

•  Congratulate each outgoing club president for a job well done.

•  Contact division leadership team to review goals achieved and congratulate it for jobs well done.

•  Assist successor, and turn records over to the lieutenant governor-designate.

October (incoming lieutenant governors)

•  Collect and review clubs’ goals for the year and evaluate clubs’ monthly reports.

•  Update division Web site.

•  Begin official club and board visits, which must be completed by March 15, 2006.

•  Conduct an official division council meeting (see page 67 of the Leadership Guide).

November

•  Celebrate Kiwanis Family Month (all month); Key Club International Week (November 7-13); and Kiwanis International Foundation Week (November 6-12).

•  Encourage clubs to send Annual Club Gift Campaign donations to the Kiwanis International Foundation.

•  Nominate outstanding Young Children: Priority One projects for banner patches.
