Circle K’ers scour the sands for garbage

Welcome to Hellshire, where it’s not just another day at the beach.

An old sock. Soda cans. Candy wrappers and broken glass. You name it; they find it.

University of Technology Circle K members, along with other Kiwanis-family members, hit the beaches in Jamaica each year to clean up what others leave behind.

“The beaches of Jamaica are utilized very frequently, but cleaned rarely,” says Circle K member Randy James. “The club members have a good time and are able to share the day with people from other clubs—and make new friends.”
