To-do: Secretaries, treasurers, presidents, lieutenant governors

Secretaries and Treasurers
September
- Participate in Kiwanis Kids’ Day, typically staged the fourth Saturday in September.
- Review officer installation ceremony plans with president.
- Order any Kiwanis International awards earned by members (Ring of Honor, Achiever’s Pin, Ruby K, etc). Visit the Kiwanis Family Store.
- Submit nomination forms to lieutenant governor or district chairman for any Young Children: Priority One awards the club may have earned.
- Complete club assessment and community analysis by October 1.
- Pay Circle K and Key Club dues, Builders Club and Aktion Club member fees and Kiwanis Kids registration fees by October 1.
- Assist incoming president with plans for conducting Club President’s Conference for Incoming Officers and Appointees by October 1.
October
- Prepare Annual Club Report. Submit to Kiwanis International electronically by October 31.
- Check with president to confirm Kiwanis Leader order. Update order with Kiwanis International.
- Make plans to observe November’s Kiwanis Family Month.
November
- If club anniversary date is September, October, November, or December, pay dues to Kiwanis International by December 31.
- Celebrate Kiwanis Family Month during November and recognize: Key Club Week, November 6-12; Kiwanis International Foundation Week, November 5-11.
President
September
- Participate in Kiwanis Kids’ Day, typically staged the fourth Saturday in September.
- Order any awards earned by club members.
- Complete club assessment and community analysis by October 1.
- Conduct installation ceremony for incoming officers.
October
- Work with club secretary to complete Annual Club Report by October 31.
- Review Kiwanis International Foundation activities and contribution programs, and inform the membership about the club’s opportunity for participation in the Annual Club Gift Campaign.
- Make plans to observe November’s Kiwanis Family Month.
November
- If club anniversary date is September, October, November, or December, pay dues to Kiwanis International by December 31.
- Celebrate Kiwanis Family Month during November and recognize: Key Club Week, November 6-12; Kiwanis International Foundation Week, November 5-11.
Lieutenant Governor
September
- Remind club presidents to prepare Annual Club Report by the October 31 deadline. All records should be pulled together and a first draft prepared by mid-September.
- Participate in Kiwanis Kids’ Day, typically staged the fourth Saturday in September.
- Pay Circle K and Key Club dues, Builders Club and Aktion Club member fees, and K-Kids registration fees by October 1.
- Congratulate each outgoing club president and the division leadership team on a job well done.
- Incoming lieutenant governors should contact each club president-designate and obtain a copy of the club’s goals for the year. Request a list of club officers, and ask to be placed on each club’s newsletter mailing list.
October
- Kick off club participation in Kiwanis International Foundation Annual Club Gift Campaign.
- Ensure Annual Club Report is submitted by October 31.
November
- Begin thinking about candidates for the next lieutenant governor-elect.
- Nominate outstanding Young Children: Priority One projects for banner patch.
- Follow-up with Circle K and Key Club lieutenant governors and Builders Club, K-Kids, and Aktion Club chairpersons for the division (where applicable).
- Celebrate Kiwanis Family Month during November and recognize: Key Club Week, November 6-12; Kiwanis International Foundation Week, November 5-11.
