Celebrating 20 years of women in Kiwanis: Web site to share women’s stories

Rosemead, California, Kiwanian Jan Mackay is one of the women who will be highlighted in future Web site profiles celebrating 20 years of women in Kiwanis.

Continuing the celebration of women in Kiwanis, kiwanis.org will feature profiles of female Kiwanians who make a significant impact in their communities and in their clubs. The women highlighted were chosen from more than 113 nominations received at the International Office after a call for nominations was published in the April issue of KIWANIS magazine. An independent panel selected the women to be featured.

Beginning mid-September and running through December, two new women will appear on the Web site each week.

In addition to the members who will be profiled in the special section, all members are encouraged to share their own personal Kiwanis stories about their membership, their club, other members, and more.
