Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF)
The United Nations Children's Fund shares Kiwanis' global
commitment to children and has offered its extensive resources and
leadership to assist in this Worldwide Service Project. In addition
to promoting Kiwanis' fund-raising cause, UNICEF has the manpower
in the fields to help nations develop salt-iodization programs and
monitor the use of Kiwanis-raised funds.
US
Fund for UNICEF
The mission of U.S. Fund for UNICEF is to promote the survival,
protection, and development of all children worldwide through fund-raising,
advocacy, and education. It is one of 37 national committees set
up around the world to raise money for UNICEF, which works in 158
countries and territories providing health care, clean water, improved
nutrition, and education to millions of children in Africa, Asia,
Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.

Agency for International Development (USAID)
USAID works in agriculture, democracy and governance, economic growth,
the environment, health, global partnerships, and humanitarian assistance
in more than 100 countries to provide a better future for all.
The
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
CDC is recognized as the lead federal agency for protecting the
health and safety of people - at home and abroad, providing credible
information to enhance health decisions, and promoting health through
strong partnerships. CDC serves as the national focus for developing
and applying disease prevention and control, environmental health,
and health promotion and education activities designed to improve
the health of the people of the United States.
World
Health Organization (WHO)
The World Health Organization, the United Nations specialized
agency for health, was established on 7 April 1948. WHO's objective,
as set out in its Constitution, is the attainment by all peoples
of the highest possible level of health. Health is defined in WHO's
Constitution as a state of complete physical, mental, and social
well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.

Against Micronutrient Malnutrition (PAMM)
PAMM is a multi-disciplinary team that engineers innovative
solutions with public health officials worldwide to end hidden hunger
through participatory training, customized technical support, and
strategic alliance building.
Cheetham
Salt Company
The Cheetham Salt company are supporters of the Kiwanis
International and
UNICEF program to eliminate iodine deficiency disorders.
Cheetham Salt is Australia's largest producer and refiner of salt
products for
both food and industrial markets and has been producing salt since
1888.
Cheetham Salt distributes salt throughout Australia, South East
Asia and the
Pacific region.
